To remain competitive, it is critical that any news, information and pricing on your website is current. If visitors find outdated information, they will move on quickly.

Ingdesign Communications content management system allows our clients to keep their information up to date, even up to the minute via their web browser, log-in to an administration web site with a username and password where they can update the content of their web site easily.


The administration system is made up of a login page (with session tracking), a Javascript menu for navigation and a number of add/edit, search and results pages for manipulating the content. This enables the information to be kept current and up to date

Ingdesigns' web-based content management systems are written in either Java, with a JSP (java server pages) front-end, integrated with a MySQL database back-end. We also develop systems in ASP or PHP if required.

We have developed a set of pre-written Java components which are used in over 50 projects. These components provide simple functionality such as emailing, database communication, image manipulation, etc.

The content management system runs on a Linux server under Apache and Tomcat – 2 heavily used and proven web server programs. Apache is the most widely used web server program on the internet. If it is a requirement for the content management system to be developed in ASP (Active server pages) then the administration menu will be hosted on a Windows server through IIS.
